CVE-2019-25241Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated root access via hard-coded SSH credentials

Published Dec 24, 2025 · Updated Dec 24, 2025

Hard-coded SSH credentials in IWT Limited FaceSentry Access Control System allow remote attackers to gain root access. Builds 5.7.0 build 539, 5.7.2 build 568, and 6.4.8 build 264 accept the fixed wwwuser password on SSH port 23445, while the sudoers policy grants passwordless access to broad root commands. Network reachability to the appliance's nonstandard SSH port is sufficient; successful exploitation gives unrestricted control of the access-control host.
