Live video disclosure via unauthenticated snapshot handler
Published Dec 24, 2025 · Updated Dec 24, 2025
Missing authentication in iSeeQ Hybrid DVR WH-H4 1.03R and 2.0.0.P allows remote attackers to retrieve camera snapshots. The /cgi-bin/get_jpeg handler accepts a channel number and returns the corresponding JPEG frame without checking for an authenticated session. Network access to the embedded web server is sufficient, and repeated requests disclose live video frames without changing recordings or configuration.
