Unauthorized actions via unchecked requests and unescaped parameters
Published Dec 24, 2025 · Updated Dec 24, 2025
Cross-site scripting and CSRF in Carlo Gavazzi SmartHouse Webapp 6.5.33 allow context-dependent attackers to run script and alter settings. The index.php error and messagepage.php msg parameters reflect unescaped input, command.php stores an unsanitized name, and datasend.php accepts state-changing POST requests without authenticity checks. A logged-in user must visit attacker-controlled content; exploitation can run script in the webapp origin or change controller settings, including temperature.
