Stored XSS via unsanitized guest checkout fields
Published Jun 22, 2023 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in Abandoned Cart Lite 5.1.3 and earlier and Pro 7.12.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject dashboard scripts. The save_data AJAX handler stores guest billing fields without sanitization, and the admin abandoned-cart table renders them without output escaping. An unauthenticated shopper only needs to begin checkout and abandon a cart; an administrator viewing the cart list triggers the script under that session.
