Published Jun 7, 2023 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
HTML injection in HAET Email Template Designer – WP HTML Mail before 2.9.1 allows remote attackers to inject markup into administrator emails. The plugin converts untrusted plain-text WordPress message bodies into HTML email parts without sanitizing embedded markup. An attacker can submit malicious content through sources such as the default comment form, but an administrator must interact with its link for phishing or a CSRF action to succeed.
