Resource exhaustion in Tendermint RPC Client before 0.31.1 allows remote attackers controlling an RPC server to interrupt clients. The makeHTTPClient transport automatically decompresses gzip-encoded server responses without bounding the resulting body size. A client must connect to an attacker-controlled RPC server; the public record does not specify whether the interruption is a hang or crash.
