CVE-2019-25066Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated command execution via unquoted login username

Published Jun 9, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025

OS command injection in Ajenti 2.1.31 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands through a crafted login username. OSAuthenticationProvider.authenticate interpolates the JSON username into a /bin/sh -c command passed to su without shell quoting. No valid account is required because the authentication endpoint processes the username before password validation, and injected commands run with the panel worker's privileges.
