JavaScript execution via unsanitized error-path reflection
Published Apr 23, 2021 · Updated Sep 17, 2024
Reflected XSS in Vaadin Framework 10.0.0 through 13.0.5 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript through a crafted URL. The default RouteNotFoundError view inserts the attacker-controlled request path into its HTML error template without output sanitization. No authentication is required, but a user must open the crafted URL; script execution occurs in that user's browser under the affected application's origin.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
