Arbitrary file overwrite in MIT krb5-appl rcp 1.0.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to replace files through a malicious server. The client accepts server-selected object names with only directory-traversal checks and writes returned content into its target directory. A malicious rcp server or man-in-the-middle position is required; recursive transfers also permit subdirectory writes, including .ssh/authorized_keys.
