Improper authentication in Mattermost Server before 5.8.0, 5.7.2, 5.6.5, and 4.10.7 allows remote authenticated users to change email addresses. Mattermost has not published the affected endpoint or the server-side operation that accepts an email-address change without credential re-entry. An existing authenticated session is required, and the documented consequence is limited to unauthorized modification of the account email address.
