Published Jun 19, 2020 · Updated Aug 5, 2024
Cross-site request forgery in affected Mattermost Server releases allows remote attackers to take over user accounts via a crafted site. Mattermost has not published the affected endpoint or the missing request-validation operation that accepts the cross-origin action. Exploitation requires an authenticated victim to visit attacker-controlled web content, allowing the forged request to act through that victim's active session.
