Stack-based buffer overflow in NETGEAR router firmware allows remote authenticated users to corrupt memory over an adjacent network. Affected firmware is before 1.0.0.60 on D6100; 1.0.0.75 on D3600 and D6000; 1.0.4.26 on R8900 and R9000; 1.0.2.52 on R7800; 1.0.0.58 on WNDR4300v2 and WNDR4500v3; 1.0.2.104 on WNDR4300; 1.0.2.102 on WNDR3700v4; and 1.0.0.66 on WNR2000v5, but NETGEAR has not published the affected interface, input field, or unsafe copy operation. High-privilege authentication and adjacent-network access are required; the overflow can expose or alter device data and interrupt service.
