Browser script execution via reflected input
Published Apr 16, 2020 · Updated Aug 5, 2024
Reflected XSS in NETGEAR router and extender firmware allows remote attackers to execute script in a user's browser via a crafted request. NETGEAR has not disclosed the web-interface endpoint or parameter that reflects attacker-controlled input without safe output encoding. NVD assesses that a user must render the reflected response, while NETGEAR limits access to an adjacent network but does not require interaction.
