Command injection in NETGEAR D3600, D6000, and XR500 firmware allows remote authenticated users to execute commands from an adjacent network. NETGEAR identifies post-authentication command injection but has not disclosed the affected request handler, input field, or command-building operation. Remote authenticated users can reach affected D3600 and D6000 firmware before 1.0.0.76 and XR500 firmware before 2.3.2.32, enabling commands that alter data or interrupt service.
