Authenticated command execution via undisclosed command injection
Published Apr 16, 2020 · Updated Aug 5, 2024
Command injection in NETGEAR D3600 and D6000 before 1.0.0.76 and XR500 before 2.3.2.32 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands. NETGEAR has not published the affected interface, parameter, or input-handling error that passes untrusted data to a command interpreter. Exploitation requires low-privileged authentication from an adjacent network and permits reading or altering data and interrupting router operation.
