Unauthenticated service interruption via stack overflow
Published Apr 16, 2020 · Updated Aug 5, 2024
Stack-based buffer overflow in five NETGEAR switch models allows attackers on an adjacent network to interrupt service. NETGEAR has not disclosed the affected request, processing routine, or operation that overruns the stack buffer. No authentication is required, and affected firmware is before 6.0.0.48 on GS728TPPv2, GS728TPv2, GS752TPP, and GS752TPv2 and before 1.0.1.4 on GS750E.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
