Browser script execution via stored XSS
Published Apr 15, 2020 · Updated Aug 5, 2024
Stored XSS in NETGEAR Orbi RBR, RBS, and RBK 20, 40, and 50 systems allows local users to execute script in an affected browser. NETGEAR has not disclosed the vulnerable input field, storage location, or output-rendering path that fails to neutralize stored content. Affected firmware precedes 2.3.5.26 on 20-series models and 2.3.5.30 on 40- and 50-series models; high-privileged local access is required, and exploitation permits browser-context data access and content modification without interrupting the device.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
