Invalid pointer dereference in GPAC before 0.8.0 allows attackers to crash MP4Box when a user processes a crafted MP4 file. During MPEG-TS program-map processing, gf_odf_delete_descriptor in odf/desc_private.c dereferences an invalid descriptor pointer while deleting an elementary stream descriptor. Exploitation requires a user to process the crafted file; the demonstrated consequence is a process crash, with no reported data disclosure or modification.
