Arbitrary TEE code execution via Trustlet double-fetch
Published Mar 24, 2020 · Updated Aug 5, 2024
Arbitrary code execution in Samsung mobile devices running Android N 7.x or O 8.x allows remote attackers to execute code in the trusted execution environment. The Trustlet double-fetches attacker-controlled data, allowing a race to alter values between validation and use and thereby bypass intended checks. Exploitation requires network reachability to the affected Trustlet interface; successful execution can compromise TEE confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
