A buffer overflow in the bootloader of Samsung mobile devices running Android 9.0 on Qualcomm chipsets allows remote attackers to corrupt memory. Samsung and the CVE record do not disclose the bootloader routine, input, or unchecked copy operation that causes the overflow. Exposure is limited to Android 9.0 devices using Qualcomm chipsets; the public record reports no more specific consequence than bootloader memory corruption.
