Authentication bypass in Samsung S Secure on China or India Android 7.x through 9.0 devices allows local users to launch masked apps. Public records identify the S Secure masked-app launch path but do not disclose which password-validation operation is omitted or bypassed. Access to an affected device is required, and the established impact is limited to opening apps hidden behind S Secure's password gate.
