Reflected XSS via unsanitized Link parameter
Published Mar 19, 2020 · Updated Aug 5, 2024
Cross-site scripting in ilchCMS 2.1.23 allows remote attackers to execute script in a user's browser via the Link parameter. The index.php/partner/index endpoint reflects POSTed Link input without adequate sanitization, allowing injected markup or script to reach the rendered response. Exploitation requires a victim to submit or visit the crafted request, and the resulting script can read accessible page data or alter actions in the victim's browser context.
