Browser script execution via reflected address path
Published Mar 19, 2020 · Updated Aug 5, 2024
Reflected XSS in ERPNext 11.1.47 allows remote attackers to execute script in a user's browser through a crafted address URI path. The address route reflects an unescaped PATH_INFO segment into the response, allowing a full-URL payload to break out of markup and add script. Exploitation requires the target to open the crafted URL, and the resulting script runs in the browser context of the ERPNext session.
