Unauthenticated video-feed access via unprotected RTSP
Published Apr 2, 2021 · Updated Aug 5, 2024
Improper authentication in Sannce Smart HD WiFi Security Camera firmware version 0 allows remote attackers to view its video feed. The camera's RTSP streaming service accepts a network connection and exposes the live stream without requesting credentials, unlike the password-protected mobile-app service. Network reachability to the device is the only reported gate, and the bounded consequence is unauthorized viewing of the camera feed.
