Stored XSS via unencoded claim dialect URI
Published Jan 27, 2020 · Updated Aug 5, 2024
Stored XSS in WSO2 API Manager 2.6.0, IS as Key Manager 5.7.0, and Identity Server 5.8.0 allows remote authenticated users to run script. A custom claim-dialect URI is stored without safe output encoding and inserted into the advanced claim configuration, causing its payload to execute when Add Claim is selected. Exploitation requires management-console privileges to modify identity-provider configurations and can expose browser data or alter the console UI.
