CVE-2019-20434Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Browser script execution via reflected GET parameter

Published Jan 27, 2020 · Updated Aug 5, 2024

Reflected XSS in the WSO2 API Manager 2.6.0 Management Console allows remote authenticated users to alter browser content via a crafted URL. The datasource creation page reflects the dsProvider GET parameter into its response without safely encoding attacker-controlled markup. A privileged user must follow the URL; injected script can redirect the browser, change the interface, or retrieve browser data, but protected session cookies prevent session hijacking.
