Server panic via unchecked packet field length

Out-of-bounds access in Lustre before 2.12.3 allows remote attackers to panic a server with a malformed client packet. In ptlrpc message parsing, lustre_msg_string trusts a length returned by lustre_msg_buflen_v2 without validating that the named buffer contains that many bytes, causing access beyond the packet boundary. Network access as a Lustre client is sufficient; the documented consequence is a kernel panic and resulting service interruption, not data disclosure or modification.
