Support archive disclosure via missing password reauthentication
Published Feb 6, 2020 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Improper authorization in Jira Server before 8.6.0 allows remote authenticated users with System Administrator access to download support ZIP files. The support-file download path does not enforce Jira's WebSudo password reauthentication, but Atlassian has not disclosed the responsible handler or authorization check. Exploitation requires System Administrator permission and exposes logs, diagnostic data, and configuration data contained in a generated support archive.
