Out-of-bounds read in libsolv before 0.7.6 allows remote attackers to interrupt dependent applications via crafted repository schema data. The repodata_schema2id function passes the input schema length to memcmp without first ensuring that the candidate stored schema contains that many identifiers, so the comparison reads beyond the heap buffer. Reachability requires a consuming application to process attacker-controlled repository data; the documented impact is availability loss, not data disclosure or code execution.
