Unauthenticated blind SQL injection via hash parameter
Published Jan 8, 2020 · Updated Aug 5, 2024
Blind SQL injection in Email Subscribers & Newsletters before 4.3.1 allows remote attackers to query its database through the hash parameter. The ES_Actions::add function concatenates hash-derived values from $args directly into an INSERT statement instead of preparing or escaping them. The tracking action accepts unauthenticated requests even when no campaign exists, enabling time-based database inference and exposure of stored data.
