Unquoted search path handling in Trend Micro Security 2019 and 2020 allows local users to execute code as SYSTEM during startup. The coreServiceShell.exe service resolves an unquoted path containing spaces and executes attacker-placed C:\Program.exe when Windows reboots. A low-privileged user needs local file-write access; successful exploitation grants SYSTEM execution and persistence.
