Heap buffer over-read in Netwide Assembler 2.15rc0 allows attackers to read process memory or crash NASM via a crafted .asm file. set_text_free reads beyond heap buffer bounds when expand_one_smacro invokes it while preprocessing attacker-controlled assembly text. Exploitation requires a user to process the crafted file locally, and the reported effects are memory disclosure or a process crash.
