Reflected XSS via search_term query reflection
Published Jan 13, 2020 · Updated Aug 5, 2024
Reflected XSS in CTHthemes CityBook before 2.3.4, TownHub before 1.0.6, and EasyBook before 1.2.2 allows remote attackers to run script. The homepage and standard search forms return the search_term query value into rendered content without neutralizing HTML event-handler markup. No authentication is required, but a victim must open a crafted search URL; the script runs in the site's browser context and can read session data or initiate actions as that user.
