Account takeover via unescaped getchart.jsp parameters
Published Jan 5, 2020 · Updated Aug 5, 2024
Cross-site scripting in Determine Contract Lifecycle Management 5.4 allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via getchart.jsp parameters. The affected JSP endpoints reflect parameter values into generated pages without adequate output encoding, allowing attacker-controlled JavaScript to execute in a victim browser. Exploitation requires a victim to load a crafted link while authenticated; demonstrated impact includes session-cookie theft and account takeover.
