Stored script execution via unescaped tracker titles
Published Mar 30, 2020 · Updated Aug 5, 2024
Stored XSS in the Trackers Title parameter in Intland codeBeamer ALM 9.5 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts. The application stores a tracker title without neutralizing script content and later places it into a page rendered for other users. Exploitation requires high-privilege access to set a tracker title and another user to view the affected page, where the script runs in that user's codeBeamer browser context.
