Browser script execution via CEL date fields
Published Mar 16, 2020 · Updated Aug 5, 2024
XSS in the CEL module of Sangoma FreePBX and PBXact 13, 14, and 15 allows remote authenticated users to inject JavaScript. The Call Event Logging report at admin/config.php?display=cel renders attacker-supplied date-field values without neutralizing script content. Administrator privileges are required to submit the payload, and a user must open the affected report for the script to run in that user's browser.
