Administrator credential disclosure via exposed temporary-file symlink
Published Jan 22, 2020 · Updated Aug 5, 2024
Incorrect access control in Ruckus Unleashed through 200.7.10.102.64 allows remote attackers to retrieve administrator credentials. The web server exposes the /web/user/wps_tool_cache symlink into /tmp without access checks, permitting unauthenticated requests to read rpmkey revision files containing the administrator name and plaintext password. Network reachability to the device web interface is sufficient, and the disclosed credentials grant administrative access.
