OS command execution via unsanitized uploadFile parameter
Published Jan 23, 2020 · Updated Aug 5, 2024
OS command injection in Ruckus Wireless Unleashed 200.7.10.102.64 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary OS commands. The cmdImportCatagory function in emfd inserts the uploadFile request attribute into a command passed to system() without sanitization. The administrative endpoint normally requires a valid session and CSRF token; the published chain reaches the sink through an unprotected JSP page, enabling device takeover.
