Unauthenticated file disclosure via unrestricted web-root fetching
Published Jan 23, 2020 · Updated Aug 5, 2024
Incorrect access control in RUCKUS Unleashed through 200.7.10.102.64 allows remote attackers to read web-root files without authentication. The Embedthis Appweb configuration sets /web as the document root but applies no file-fetch restrictions, so HTTP requests return files of any type, including linked files. Exposure requires network access to the management web interface and discloses local file contents, including the reported bin/web.conf file, without altering data or service availability.
