Replicated data disclosure via missing OPC UA checks
Published Jan 17, 2020 · Updated Aug 5, 2024
Missing authorization in Gallagher Command Centre Server allows remote authenticated users to read replicated data through OPC UA. The OPC UA interface on TCP port 4840 returns all data eligible for multi-server replication without applying the requesting operator's privilege checks. An active operator account and network access to that port are required; the flaw exposes replicated information but does not permit modification or service interruption.
