Improper authorization in Gallagher Command Centre Server allows remote authenticated users to create backups of Command Centre databases. Gallagher has not published the affected function or the authorization check that fails before the backup operation is accepted. Exploitation requires a valid low-privilege account and remote access to the Configuration Client interface and DCOM; the documented consequence is unauthorized backup creation.
