Unauthenticated endpoint access via duplicated index.fcgi path
Published May 29, 2023 · Updated Jan 14, 2025
Authorization bypass in LemonLDAP::NG before 2.0.7 allows remote attackers to access protected SOAP and REST endpoints via crafted URLs. The default Apache configuration applies its Require rule to a path that can be altered by inserting index.fcgi/index.fcgi, routing a restricted endpoint without the intended access check. Exposure requires affected setup options and an Apache deployment; successful requests reach protected endpoint functionality without authentication.
