CVE-2019-19751Network attack vector

Node impersonation via baked-in SSH host keys

Published Apr 30, 2024 · Updated Mar 28, 2025

Improper SSH host-key management in easyMINE before 2019-12-05 allows remote attackers to impersonate mining nodes. The installation image contains host private keys generated before imaging, causing separate deployments to present the same server identity. Man-in-the-middle attackers with the reused key can impersonate a node during SSH connection setup, while the public key also enables internet-wide host enumeration.
