Victim-context script execution via reflected id parameter
Published Mar 16, 2020 · Updated Aug 5, 2024
Reflected XSS in FreePBX Backup & Restore 14.0.10.2 through 14.0.10.7 allows remote authenticated users to run script in a victim session. The backup configuration screen reflects the id query parameter into the generated administrator page without neutralizing executable markup. Exploitation requires high-privilege access and a logged-in victim, such as an administrator, to open the crafted link; the script then runs in that victim's account context.
