Stored script execution via Data Import Wizard
Published Jan 21, 2020 · Updated Aug 5, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in Jama Connect 8.44.0 allows remote attackers to run script in another user's browser via imported data. The Data Import Wizard stores attacker-controlled content supplied through the Import File and Destination tab and later renders it without effective neutralization. Exploitation requires a user to view the affected content; executed script can read or alter data available to that user's session, but no service interruption is reported.
