Unauthenticated command execution via File Server port
Published Jan 8, 2020 · Updated Aug 5, 2024
Improper authentication in Broadcom CA Automic Sysload 5.6.0 through 6.1.2 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands. The File Server component accepts command requests on its network port without authenticating the sender. The port must be reachable and the File Server module must be installed; successful exploitation runs commands with the component's privileges.
