Authenticated command execution via plugin test injection
Published Mar 20, 2020 · Updated Aug 5, 2024
OS command injection in Centreon's minPlayCommand.php through 19.04.4 allows remote authenticated users to run arbitrary OS commands via a plugin test. The plugin-test handler passes attacker-controlled test content to an operating-system command without neutralizing shell metacharacters. A low-privilege authenticated web session is required, and injected commands run with the privileges assigned to the application process.
