CVE-2019-19299Network attack vector

Camera password disclosure via weak streaming cryptography

Published Mar 10, 2020 · Updated Aug 5, 2024

Information disclosure in Siemens SiNVR/SiVMS Video Server in all versions allows remote attackers to recover camera passwords over TCP port 5410. The streaming service exposes device credentials using cryptography too weak to prevent recovery of the underlying passwords. No authentication or user interaction is required, and recovered credentials enable further attacks against connected cameras.
