Administrative action execution via reflected web input
Published Mar 10, 2020 · Updated Aug 5, 2024
Reflected XSS in Siemens Control Center Server before 1.5.0 allows remote attackers to execute actions in an administrator's browser. Siemens identifies the web interface as the affected locus but does not disclose which request parameter is reflected without output neutralization. Exploitation requires an administrator to follow attacker-controlled content, enabling script-driven administrative actions without interrupting the service.
