Unauthenticated service interruption via crafted UDP packets

Denial of service in all Siemens SIPROTEC 4 and SIPROTEC Compact relay versions allows remote attackers to interrupt service via UDP packets. The EN100 Ethernet communication module improperly validates specially crafted packets received on UDP port 50000, leaving the relay unresponsive. Network access to that port is sufficient, and recovery requires a manual reboot; no data disclosure or modification is reported.
